A modern winery in Goriška Brda, shaped by place, patience and precision.

Nebó Winery is located in the village Neblo in Goriška Brda. It appeared quietly on the Slovenian wine map with the 2017 vintage.
Built on the site of an old family farm, the estate represents a modern continuation of a long agricultural presence in the area. Today, Nebó cultivates around 18 hectares of vineyards, among the westernmost in Slovenia, combining young plantings with parcels up to 40 years old.
Nebó’s philosophy is to guide, not force the wines. Modern techniques are carefully balanced with natural processes.
Healthy vineyards begin with a living ecosystem — quiet, balanced and precise.
Brda is Mediterranean in character, yet strongly shaped by the nearby Alps. Cooler air, opoka soil and varied exposure create distinctive growing conditions for the vine.

Layered marl and sandstone naturally limit yields and concentrate character.

Higher sites bring depth; lower, north-facing sites preserve freshness and aromatics.
The estate’s modern wine cellar welcomed its first vintage in 2021. It reflects a clear, methodical approach shaped by Miha Berus, head of the winery.
The philosophy at Nebó Winery is rooted in the belief that great wines are guided rather than forced. Indigenous yeasts, patient maturation, stainless steel and wood all have their place.
